James J. Golden, Executive Director and President
James Golden is the Executive Director of the EGA Multi-Service Center & Residence. Mr. Golden also serves as the President of the Edwin Gould Housing Development Fund Corporation Board of Directors and the President of the East Harlem Residence Corporation Board of Directors. Over the past 17 years, Mr. Golden has held key positions at Edwin Gould Academy including Team Leader, Director of Intake & Assessment, Director of Development and Research, Director of Clinical Services, and Executive Deputy Director of Program Development and Evaluation.

Mr. Golden is a graduate of the University of Maine. Mr. Golden completed a graduate internship at Children's Hospital in San Diego where he was awarded a nationally recognized credential in the Interdisciplinary Detection, Prevention, and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect. Mr. Golden completed his graduate work in Educational Psychology at Seton Hall University and is a graduate of the Institute for Not-for-Profit Management’s Executive Level Program at Columbia University Business School. Mr. Golden’s research projects included: Abuse and Neglect, Behavioral Medicine, Forensic Psychology, Learning Studies, Sports Psychology, and a publication in Psychological Abstracts on assessment.
